If you are in need of some new Lacoste check out Macy's and enjoy free shipping until Tuesday.
The Polo Shirt is apart of every man's wardrobe. Some people see it as a glorified T-shirt while others see it as quentissential casual business attire. But it has never been given its due in the fashion world and I think it's time to change that.

These shirts are apart of the Dunhill by Kim Jones Collection. I am all for creativity but I don't know if the usage of paneling and color are working for me here. But check out the rest of his collection at Opening Ceremony.

I never really was a fan of Bathing Ape with there knock off Air Force 1's. But these polos are not bad. I kind of like the how the collar contrast with the rest of the shirt. For $124 I guess its not bad considering their sneakers are going for $300 and up. If you got some loose change hanging around give Bape a look.
I like how Bobby Jones places the embroidered logo within the button placket. Who would have thought that there would be so much to discuss about polos, lol. My wife is simply amazed.
Alife had these organic cotton polo shirts available for the Spring 2009. I know its a little late but I thought it was an interesting concept. I don't know how organic cotton is beneficial to the environment or your body, but I guess for those organic freaks you can't have enough organic products.
This is a Rogues Gallery creation. I love how the sleeves unbutton and the casual, rugby look as well. Rogues Gallery was nominated by GQ Magazine as one of the top new men's designers.

These long sleeved polos (or fine jersey long sleeve leisure shirt) from American Apparel actually look very sophisticated and stylish. I have always been a little weary of the quality of their clothes but I may check them out this fall.
In a previous post I stated how I disliked graphics on a polo, but Kanye makes it look so cool. Photo from The Sartorialist.

I saw these posted on Hypebeast (another one of my favorite blogs). The materials being used look very interesting, especially on the first one where they created some texture by making it look like grey tiles. I tried on a Fred Perry polo before and really didn't like the fit. This collabo may have me give Fred another look.
I like how Michael Bastian puts his looks together. His looks are refined and tailored without looking rigid.
Photo is from The Sartorialist blog. Just look at the confidence and the beauty she exudes.

This polo is designed by Blac Label. First off I want to say I am a supporter (although slightly bias because the head designer is a fellow alum) because the label has livened up urban wear. They offer innovative designs alongside stylish concepts that have took the marketplace by storm. However, I am not a fan of graphics on a polo. Graphics are for t-shirts, period. Now you can still have the same bold look by using different fabrics without having to resort to wings and daggers being posted on the front. But maybe I am ol' school, what do you guys think?

I have seen this look from time to time, but have never tried it myself. Using a long-sleeved polo shirt as a sweater broadens the functionality of the shirt, but does it work? Maybe one day I will try and take it a step further a wear a tie as well. I hope that is not taking it too far. (These outfits are Ralph Lauren of course).
